This is a slideshow of damaged solder joints I've found during my repairs. I have found that they are usually the cause of intermittent issues with your unit. The root cause is temperature fluctuations, the circut board and the metal on it expands and contracts with temperature changes, over time this causes metal fatigue which eventually leads to cracks!
